Azure produces sail sculptures, trophies and prizes for some of the world's most prestigious regattas. These are either displayed or have been presented at numerous international yacht clubs. Works, such as that presented at the 'Yachtsman of The Year Awards', are available from several selected galleries or direct from the artist. This year Azure made all the awards for the Raymarine young sailor of the year. These were presented at the 2008 Excel boat show.

Presentation for Ellen Macarthur

The Royal Ocean Racing Club  commissioned a sculpture to be presented to her to celebrate her record breaking voyage. This takes the form of an albatross circling the world. Ellen heads up the 'save the albatross' campaign and the sculpture was on the Azure Dragon stand at Earls Court

Azure strongly supports classic yachting and provides all the trophies for the British Classic Yacht Club regatta at Cowes. See www.britishclassicyachtclub.org .There  was keen competition from the 6 metres in the build up to last years world championship and metre regatta at Cowes. Azure made the silverware for 2007 when 60 boats raced for the world championship at Cowes. There were new designs for overall first, second and third for both classics and moderns as well as a 'trophee d' elegance' for the most beautiful yacht. It was  a truly classic summer with some very graceful boats out racing. There were 12 metres, 8s,6s 5s, 8CRs and Darings and 5.5s at the following IMETA regatta.

In 2008 the metre regatta will be one to watch with Mariquita Mariette, Lulworth, the Lady Anne, Adix and perhaps other superyachts from a byegone era coming to Cowes. Azure will be represented on Ierne, the 1914 Fife 8 metre that won the gold medal at the 1920 olympic games at Antwerp. This yacht is a piece of sailing history and has been magnificently restored. The thursday of the regatta will be a special race to celebrate 100years of sailing in the olympic games with the original courses and run by the Royal Victoria YC

Azure also has as its charity sail4cancer , and increased its involvement  with the Manches Cup. S4C was the official charity for the 2007 6 metre worlds , classic week and IMETA regatta ( 100 years of the metre rule)

A prestigious event deserves unique well designed prizes worth winning and Azure was created to deliver these qualities
